About Me



Chelsea Moss was born and raised in Midlothian, Virginia. She started dancing at age 3, and by age 11 was performing for sold out audiences at Richmond’s Landmark Theater. Primarily trained in Ballet, she enjoyed dancing with Martinique School of Dance and Ballet Petit Dance Company.

At age eighteen she studied dance for a year in Greenville, North Carolina. She then traveled to Harrisonburg, Virginia to study at James Madison University, where she majored in psychology and dance.

Upon graduation, she moved to Richmond, Virginia to tour the country with the Virginia Repertory Theatre. After lead roles in three tours, Chelsea applied and was accepted to train in New York City with Broadway Dance Center’s Summer Professional Semester. Upon completion of BDC’s professional program, Chelsea made the permanent move to NYC. She currently teaches at Broadway Dance Center in the Children and Teen Program. She also works closely with Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver as the managing director of their successful acting studio Actor Therapy. She has performed in such celebrated venues as Symphony Space, Ailey Citigroup Theater, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, Ellis Island, and more. In addition, she studied as a lyricist with the BMI Workshop, and trains at the Esper Studio (both located in NYC). Chelsea is represented by Across The Board Talent Agency.
